So is this also useable in "Tiled"?

You can add a tilemap and build your scene. (Handmade only, no autotile.)

Example of use in Godot:

Umm.... I work with Unity

But what I was asking about, was "Tiled" that autotiling software.

https://thorbjorn.itch.io/tiled

Will your "extra" pack work with that?? You said "preconfigured resources" in the message below. So, from the graphics you shared, they are what are usually used in "Tiled" - that's what I'm seeing in this video tutorial by "AdamCYounis"

IF I'm understanding it correctly, the starting tiles he made is where the tiles from your asset pack will come in handy.

Thank you.

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood.

The extra version wouldn't work in “Tiled” because it comes with preconfigured resources, but only for Godot.

Right now it is not designed to perform autotiling (I don't know how it would work in "Tiled"), so there will probably be visual problems when creating the terrain, but...

You've given me the idea to include that feature, so I'm going to run some tests and try to add it to the package so that it works correctly with autotiling.

It might take a couple of days, but be prepared for an update. 👀

And thank you for your comment!

Wow, that's awesome! Thanks!! <3

I just saw the update! Muah! Thank you! Maybe now I can make some sense of my scenes!

I'm a little unclear on what the "extra" bundle contains. I use Godot so I am interested but it just looks like more of the same? Are those assets in a different resolution?

Sorry it was a bit confusing.

Answering your question, the assets shown are the same as the basic version, they do not come in another resolution.

What I was trying to show is that in Extra (Godot) you will have:

  • Preconfigured resources (8px, 16px)

The base tile for each shape, the texture origin for each tile and the colliders for the physics layer.

Resources preview

  • A scene with 2 built examples (the ones shown on the page) One in 8px and the other in 16px.
  • Configuration guide, which explains how to prepare the resources offered from scratch in case you have any doubts.

No worries. Thanks for the reply! Having the tilemap resources already created is a big time saver. Sold!
